Enterprise Software Ventures (ESV) is our venture capital group focused on early stage investments in Enterprise Software and B2B SaaS companies. ESV’s team of dedicated investment professionals work closely with the in-house Sales and Marketing business unit to identify potential Seed, Series A investment opportunities via a series of events called Retreats.

Sales Process
Send out speaker invitations to C-level decision makers in LinkedIn and our internal network of thousands of past/present speakers and attendees.
Schedule conference calls with those C-level decision makers who responded to the speaker invitation requesting more Retreat details.
Provide the C-level decision maker with a Retreat overview. The goal of the conference call is to understand their role, specific job duties, and “what’s keeping them up at night”.
Take the pain points we learned from the conference call and identify a few portfolio companies and/or software partners that can provide an ingenious business solution.
Work with one portfolio company or software partner to create panel discussion content and provide an email introduction to the C-level decision maker.
Our portfolio company or software partner will schedule a conference call with the C-level decision maker in the weeks leading up to the Retreat. The purpose of the call is to build rapport and work out panel discussion talking points.
The panel discussion takes place at an upcoming Retreat.
Post Retreat, we will seek to schedule a software demo and/or on-site workshop at the C-level decision maker’s headquarters. The goal is to meet with other C-level decision makers and make them aware of our portfolio companies and software partners and uncover more pain points.
Engage 1-2-3 C-level decision makers in a Proof-of-Concept (POC). Send out pricing proposals and agree on a timeframe for software purchase.
Work with the C-level decision maker and procurement to finalize pricing and terms of use via a software agreement and identify the appropriate resources for software deployment.
